Ondela

The app itself is in Polish for now — this page is here so you know what you'd be waiting for.

A hard day

When things are hard the app does less, not more. It does not force analysis or pretend to be a therapist — but it does have somewhere to take you.

  1. 01
    Today

You talk about something heavy. The recording ends the way it always does — no alarm, no lecture. An ordinary hard day is still an ordinary journal: the entry stays and usually nothing replies.

  2. 02
    Journal

If, though, you say something that sounds like a threat to your life, Ondela tries to recognise it and does less, not more: the entry stays in the Journal, flagged, but goes no further — not to the Portrait, not to the Echo. On the Today screen, instead of an Echo, you see a short message and a support card with the numbers of people who can help right now. It is a program and it can be wrong.

  3. 03
    Meditations

Below that line, when the Echo speaks — because the entry sounds intense or a subject keeps returning — an offer of a breathing moment appears for a short while after saving: a brief meditation woven from your own words. It comes out of your credit pool, and you can ignore it.

  4. 04
    Conversations

If you want to go further, you start a conversation from that entry. The guide knows the context, so you do not start from nothing.

  5. 05
    Threads

When the subject keeps returning it stops being one bad day and becomes a thread you return to on purpose. You can stay here.

How the parts connect

Start

  • Today

The home screen: the place you speak from, and whatever has come back to you since your last visit.

  • Journal

All your entries in full, in the order they were made. Nothing here is ever overwritten.

Mirror

What the system notices in you — hypotheses, not verdicts.

  • Echo

Reflection on your entries: a warm look at the day, a calmer one at the week.

  • Portrait

What settled out of those days into a picture of you, told in paragraphs — each with its evidence underneath.

Working on yourself

Where you can actually do something with what you have recorded.

  • Conversationsoptional part

Sessions with a guide — start a new one, return to one you left, or simply talk about what is hard.

  • Threadsoptional part

Lasting themes you keep returning to, with progress told in plain words.

  • Processoptional part

The map of the work as the guide sees it: what the guide understands so far, what the plan is, what you agreed on.

  • To dooptional part

Commitments you made to yourself inside your entries — to look over and tick off.

Meditations

Guided recordings woven from whatever you have been carrying lately.

  • Meditationsoptional part

The recordings you have, and making a new one when you feel the need.

  • Downloads

Recordings saved on this device — they stay when there is no connection.
